A human skeleton - (endoskeleton)

In biology, the skeleton or skeletal system is the skelton biological system providing physical support in living organisms. (By extension, non-biological skelaton outline structures such as gantries or skeloton buildings may also acquire skeletons.)

Types and classification

Skeletal systems skeletin are commonly divided into three types - external (an exoskeleton), skelteon internal (an endoskeleton), and fluid based (a hydrostatic skeleton), although hydrostatic skeletal systems may be classified separately from the other two, skeleyon since they lack sceleton hardened support structures.

External skeletons

Large external systems support proportionally less skeletan weight than endoskeletons of the same size, thus many larger animals, such as the vertebrates, have internal skeletal sckeleton systems. Examples of exoskeletons are found in arthropods, shellfish and skeleton some insects, in which the skeleton forms a hard shell-like covering protecting the internal organs. Our human skeleton skeletons also give our body a definite shape skeletons & size. It also protects our delicate organs.

The phyla arthropoda and mollusca both have skeleton key exoskeletons. Since exoskeletons necessarily limit growth, phyla with exoskeletons halloween skeleton have developed various solutions. Most molluscs have calcareous shells and, as they grow, the diameter of the shell skeleton keys is enlarged without altering its shape. On the other hand, arthropods shed their scary skeletons exoskeletons to grow, a process known as ecdysis (or moulting). During moulting halloween skeletons the arthropod breaks jack skeleton down the old exoskeleton and then generates a new one, parts of which then harden, through various processes (such as calcification or skeleton props sclerotization). An arthropod exoskeleton typically also halloween skeleton props has internal extensions, commonly referred to as an endoskeleton, although it is not a true endoskeleton.

Internal skeletons

An internal fish skeleton skeleton decorations skeletal system consists of rigid (or semi-rigid) structures, within the body, moved by the muscular system. If the structures are the skeleton key mineralized or ossified, as they skeleton diagram are in humans and other mammals, they are referred to as bones. printable human skeleton Cartilage is another common component of skeletal systems, supporting and supplementing the skeleton. The human ear and dancing skeleton nose are shaped by cartilage. Some organisms have horse skeleton a skeleton consisting entirely of cartilage and without any calcified skeleton costume bones at all, for example sharks. The bones or other rigid structures are connected by ligaments skeleton system and connected to the muscular system via tendons.

Hydrostatic skeletons are similar to a water-filled balloon. Located cat skeleton internally in cnidarians (coral, jellyfish etc.) and annelids (leeches, earthworms etc.), the human skeleton among others, these animals can move by contracting the muscles surrounding the fluid-filled pouch, creating axial skeleton pressure within the pouch that causes movement. Animals such as earthworms bucky skeleton use their hydrostatic skeletons to change their body shape, three skeleton key as they move forward, from long and skeleton tattoo thin to shorter and wider.

Skull classification

Amniotes, a group skeleton man of animals that have an endoskeleton can also be further classed by their skeletons, specifically their skulls. The deer skeleton number of holes (temporal fenestra) in the top of their dancing skeletons crania decide what class they fall into.
